How to choose facestock, adhesives and liners?

1.Durable and Removable Adhesives
   There are two types of adhesives—durable and removable adhesives in terms of their  functional performance.

2. Why the surfaces of the objects are so important?
   The stickers can be stuck on the surface of different materials, such as glass, metal, cardboard, plastics etc.  And plastics can be further divided into PVC, HDPE, LDPE. The test shows that the greatest influence on the performance of the adhesives is the surface condition of the objects.

3. The surface texture of the objects.
   In a word, the rougher the surface of the object is, the adhesive with higher viscosity is needed.

4. The Shape of the Surface
   The surface of the object can be flat and curved. The curved ones, like the surface of a medicine bottle whose diameter is less than 3 centimeters, require a perfectly-match facestock and an adhesive with higher viscosity.

5. The surface of the label should be clean.
   A clean, dry, non-grease surface without dust is favorable.

6. The plasticizer will bring undesirable effect on the adhesive.
   The plasticizers, usually used in PVC, will decrease the performance of the adhesive after a period of time.

        7. What is the sticking condition and environmental condition?
   Sticking conditions refer to the temperature (cold or hot), humidity, and the greenhouse condition under which the stickers will be stuck.
